Communication in the IEC 60870-5-101 protocol

The TETRA product IEC102 is applied for serial communication according to IEC 60870-5-101 protocol via the TETRA network, using a TOM100 TETRA modem for access.
The telemetry unit IEC102 connects two electronic systems exchanging data via a serial data link in the IEC60870-5-101 protocol. The terminal device is connected to the IEC102 via the RS232 interface. After having completed parameter setting of the IEC102 and starting the IEC-101 service by means of AT commands, the data may be exchanged via the IEC 60870-5-101 protocol.
The TETRA system is used for data volume of up to 2kByte per minute.
