RTG764
Radio beacon
The RTG764 is a radio beacon which marks a known location with an individual ID. It is a significant element in the locating of personnel and commodity value.
Localisation
The radio beacons are installed at specific locations in a building and periodically transmit their individual ID.
When a person carrying a matching transmission device (e.g. TETRA radio) enters the beacon’s transmission range, the device receives the ID and sends it to the main control centre. This way the main control centre can determine the person's current location within the building.
Taking the operation environment/the environmental influences into consideration, the RTG764 can also be used in outdoor areas.
