• Proactive system monitoring: The WDS200 acts as an independent ‘watchdog’ and continuously monitors the ‘signs of life’ (polling messages) of your registered software. If a connection fails, an alarm is activated immediately.
• Reliable hardware alarms: Unlike pure software solutions, the WDS200 ensures that an alarm is initiated even if the monitored system itself is no longer responding. Via integrated LEDs, an acoustic beeper and 8 potential-free relay contacts, you can poll external signal transmitters such as strobe lights or sirens.
• Emergency power supply for uninterrupted security: An integrated emergency power battery ensures that the WDS200 continues its monitoring function seamlessly even in the event of a power failure and saves the last system status.
• Flexible and scalable (multi-client capable): Monitor a single critical application or connect multiple software instances simultaneously. The WDS200 is ideally equipped for both scenarios and can be configured flexibly.
• Easy integration and configuration: Thanks to the intuitive WDS200 middleware, the system can be seamlessly integrated into your existing IT infrastructure. Network settings can be easily configured via Telnet.
• Robust 19" industrial enclosure: The WDS200 comes in a 19-inch sheet steel enclosure (1U) and is designed for easy rack mounting.
