  1. Scope

This statement is valid for the following websites:

Domain:

  1.  Compatibility status with requirements

This website is designed to comply with accessibility requirements in accordance with EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.

The accessibility of this website was last checked on 8 July 2025 using a self-assessment and the Lighthouse tool in the Microsoft Edge browser. The result shows that the site meets 92% of accessibility requirements, which indicates that the legal requirements have already been implemented very well. Key criteria such as keyboard operability, sufficient colour contrast, alternative text for images and compatibility with screen readers are widely met.

There is currently a limitation with the Google Maps map integrated into the website. This is not fully accessible, as the display and functionality of Google Maps as a third-party component does not fully comply with accessibility requirements. The reason for this lies in the technical specifications and limitations of the service, which are outside the control of ats Elektronik GmbH.

In order to enable orientation to all users, a text-based route description and a map in PDF format are provided as an accessible alternative. The continuous improvement of accessibility remains a declared aim, and identified barriers are being gradually removed as far as technically possible.

  1. Non-accessible content

The following content and functions on this website are currently not fully accessible:

  • Embedded video players
  • The display of Google Maps
  • Content provided via Adobe Publish Online

Reason:

The components mentioned are provided by third-party providers and are subject to their technical specifications. Google Maps and Adobe Publish Online in particular have accessibility restrictions, as these services do not meet all accessibility requirements in accordance with Sections 9a ff. NBGG. ats Elektronik GmbH has no direct influence on the technical design and accessibility of these external services. The video players also currently do not fully comply with legal requirements, for example with regard to subtitling or keyboard operability.

Schedule for rectification:

An accessible alternative is already available for Google Maps: users can access text-based directions and a route map in PDF format. For other external content, technical and organizational options are continuously being reviewed in order to further reduce barriers. The aim is to provide alternative accessible information channels and to continuously improve the accessibility of the website. Users are asked to report barriers using the feedback form so that targeted improvements can be made.

This statement was established on July 8, 2025. The evaluation of accessibility is based on a self-assessment carried out using the Lighthouse tool in the Microsoft Edge browser. As part of this review, the key criteria for accessibility were systematically evaluated and documented. The result of the self-assessment forms the basis for the current evaluation of the website's accessibility and serves as a starting point for further optimization measures.
